Poppy Bank, recently named the best business bank and recognized as one of the strongest financial institutions in the nation with assets nearing $6 billion, recently announced the grand opening of its Folsom branch, conveniently located at 2760 E. Bidwell Street inside Bel Air grocery store. Two more branches are scheduled to open the Sacramento area in the coming months. The full-service banking facility will open several more branches in 2024.

Poppy Bank President and CEO, Khalid Acheckzai says, “We are very excited to open a new branch in Folsom as we continue our strategic initiative of opening branches throughout California. At a time when many banks are closing branches, I am pleased that we are continuing to grow and expand. This is a testament to our strength, reliability, and sound risk management practices. We look forward to supporting the economic prosperity of this great community and deepening our relationships with our Sacramento area partners.”

Shannon Robb, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships of Choose Folsom, says, “Choose Folsom is thrilled to welcome Poppy Bank to our city.  We look forward to supporting the community-focused bank as they grow in our community.”

Poppy Bank specializes in creating personal deposit portfolios with a full spectrum of competitive products and services including treasury management — and commercial, construction, and SBA/USDA lending. The bank is also one of few in the nation to offer C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing. Currently located in Roseville and Folsom, the Bank will be welcoming two more Sacramento area locations in Elk Grove and Crocker Village in the coming months.
